REBECCA at DATE2025

31 March – 2 April 2025

On the 31st March – 2nd April 2025, REBECCA partner Odysseas Chatzopoulos from National & Kapodistrian University of Athens represented the project-related research at the European event for electronic system Design & Test: DATE2025 conference in Lyon, France!

The DATE conference is the main European event bringing together designers and design automation users, researchers and vendors, as well as specialists in the hardware and software design, test and manufacturing of electronic circuits and systems. DATE puts a strong emphasis on both technology and systems, covering ICs/SoCs, reconfigurable hardware and embedded systems as well as embedded software.

At the conference, Odysseas Chatzopoulos gave a presentation titled "From gates to SDCs: understanding Fault Propagation Through the Compute Stack". Understanding silent data corruptions (SDCs) before trying to mitigate them is a cross-layer computing problem and needs fast and accurate analysis from the lower levels all the way to workload completion.
