REBECCA Showcased Edge AI Innovation at EEAI 2025 Conference in Naples

20-22 October 2025

From 20 to 22 October 2025, the REBECCA project represented the forefront of European innovation in Edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the EEAI 2025 Conference held in Naples, Italy. The event gathered leading experts, researchers, and policymakers to discuss technological advancements shaping the future of AI and computing in Europe.

REBECCA was highlighted among the flagship Chips Joint Undertaking projects driving progress in Edge AI, as presented by Project Officer Mr. Huascar Espinoza in the strategic roadmap for a resilient European ecosystem.

The REBECCA coordinating team, Dr. Iakovos Mavroidis and Mr. Konstantinos Georgopoulos, delivered impactful contributions — including the project pitch and a plenary presentation on Open-Source technologies and AI at the Edge. They also joined a panel discussion on “Future Edge AI Technologies and Applications: Trends and Development Landscape”, sharing insights on how REBECCA is helping shape Europe’s next generation of Edge AI solutions.

A warm thank-you goes to the conference organizers and all participants for an inspiring and forward-looking event that continues to drive innovation and collaboration within the European AI community.
